Personality Test (the Cube)

Most people actually do not know what exactly their personalities are. Before I learnt a few techniques of cold reading and psychoanalysis, i  also did not know. The cube  is a psychological test that was popularized by Neil Strauss in his book “The Game”.  After reading about the cube test, I got abit interested in the concept so I did some research.

The cube is enables you to answer a few questions and your answers mean something on your personality. The subject taking the test has to imagine and honestly answer the questions.

So Lets begin

  1. Imagine you are in a large white room.
    • What is the color of the room?
  2. In that large room, imagine a cube.
    • what is the size of the cube(small, medium, or large)?
    • How big is the cube compared to the room?
    • What is the color of the cube?
    • Is it transparent(see through) or opague (solid)?
    • Is it floating? or is it on the ground?
  3. Now, Imagine a ladder in the room.
    • Whats the size of the ladder?
    • Where is it in the room?
    • What is the distance between the cube and the ladder?
    • Is it leaning, standing straight up, or lying on the ground?
  4. Imagine flowers in the room.
    • Where are they inside your room?
    • What colors are they?
    • What kind of flowers?
    • How many flowers are there?
  5. Imagine a Horse in your room..
    • Where in the room is it?
    • What is it doing?
    • What is its mood?
    • What color is the horse?
    • Is the horse tied up or roaming freely?
    • Does it have a saddle?
  6. Now finally Imagine a storm in your room.
    • Where in the room is it?
    • How big is it?
    • What are its characteristics (i.e. lightening, rain, cloudy, hail, tornadoes, etc.)

Meanings:

Room: If you said the room is any other color than white, then you get distracted easily and don’t pay attention all the time 🙂

The Cube: The cube represents you(yourself) and how you see yourself in the world. The size represents your ego. (Small = small ego, medium = average, large = you think highly of yourself). How big the box is compared to the room, is how you compare yourself to the world. If the cube is on the ground, that means your grounded and down to earth. If it is floating, that means your life is unstable and unpredictable. If the cube is transparent that means people can see right through you.

Ladder: The ladder represents your goals, or what you really want in life. If it is located any other place in the room but the center, then your goal is not most important in your life. The more steps your ladder has, the more steps you will have to take towards your goal. If the ladder is leaning, then achieving your goal depends on someone or something other

Flower: The flower represents your children or desire to have children. The closer the flower is to the cube, the closer you feel to your children or the thought of having children. The more flowers the more kids you wish to have.If you have one flower, you will or have one child. If you have two, then two. Most of the time, a large amount of flowers means you love children and hope to have very many, or already do, but maybe not the exact amount (like if you said 1,000 ) 🙂 . The colors of the flowers describe your child’s personality, bright colors meaning lively, happy, funny, and outgoing. Darker colors meaning, serious, extremely intelligent, perhaps moody, but very lovable.

Horse: The horse represents you lover or ideal lover. The distance between the horse and the cube represents the closeness you have with your current lover. If the horse is tied up, then it shows the need to be controlling in a relationship. If the horse has a saddle then you feel safe with them. If the horse is free and not saddled, it means you view your lover as uncontrollable, unpredictable. If your horse is brown, black, or any other dark color, you like having a partner that has a darker (Italian, Hispanic, African, or just very tan person) skin complexion, darker hair, or darker eyes. If your horse is white, tan, or any other light color, then you like a partner with blonde, pale skin, or light colored eyes.

Storm: The storm represents some obstacles in your life. If the storm is passing, the issue is current with a resolution in the near future. If the storm is staying put, it has been an ongoing obstacle in your life with no resolution in sight. The size of the storm represents how big of an obstacle this is to you, as does the distance. The further away the storm the less importance you place on it. If the storm is violent it means this obstacle is causing quite some grief. If your storm is anywhere in your room other than the center, then your problems in your life are not your main concern. If it is in the middle of the room, then it is your main concern.

The personality test is designed to be quick and easy. You can be as elaborate as you wish by asking more questions or keep it simple and ask very minimal questions. I  prefer asking  minimal questions so as to keep my interpretations open to prompt a response from the intended target.
